It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade "carrying out the legal punishments (hudud) in the mosques, reciting poetry in them, or drawing and brandishing weapons inside them."
The chain of this narration is hasan (good), provided that Ishaq bin Yasar heard it directly from Sayyiduna Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him).
