It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said these words in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): 'Al-hamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih' (All praise belongs to Allah, praise that is abundant, pure and blessed). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is the one who said these words?" The narrator relates that the man remained silent, because he thought that perhaps he had suddenly said something before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked again: "Who is that man? For he has said something most correct and true." At this the man said: O Messenger of Allah, I said those words, and my aim by them was only to hope for good.
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose hand of power is my soul, I saw thirteen angels racing towards those words of yours, vying with one another as to which of them would be first to raise it up to the court of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
