قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، ثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَلَى مَنْ تَحْرُمُ النَّارُ غَدًا ؟ عَلَى كُلِّ هَيِّنٍ لَيِّنٍ قَرِيبٍ سَهْلٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the one upon whom the Fire of Hell will be forbidden tomorrow (on the Day of Resurrection)? (The Fire is forbidden) upon everyone who is gentle in temperament, soft in manner, close to people (sociable) and makes matters easy."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this hadith in his Musnad, and Allamah al-Albani declared it sahih (authentic) on the basis of other supporting reports.
