It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Teach (people) knowledge, make things easy (for them) and do not make (matters) difficult." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said these words three times, and further said: "So when anyone of you becomes angry, let him remain silent."
Imam Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah recorded this hadith in his al-Musannaf, and its chain contains Layth bin Abi Sulaym, whose memory has been criticised; however, it has supporting reports in Musnad Ahmad and other books of hadith that strengthen it.
