وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ ، رَفَعَهُ : هَلَاكُ أُمَّتِي فِي ثَلَاثٍ : الْقَدَرِيَّةِ ، وَالْعَصَبِيَّةِ ، وَالرِّوَايَةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ ثَبْتٍ .
It is narrated from Rabi'ah (may Allah have mercy on him) as marfu' that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The ruin and destruction of my Ummah lies in three things: denial of divine decree (that is, opposing the belief in qadar), ignorant partisanship (that is, unjust taking of sides and factionalism), and relating any statement or report without verification, scrutiny and firm proof."
Imam al-Harith bin Abi Usamah transmitted this narration in his Musnad; however, there is a break in its chain, because of which this narration is technically da'if (weak).
