وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ الْيَمَنَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْكُمْ ، أَنْ تَعْبُدُوا اللهَ تَعَالَى ، وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ، وَأَنْ تُطِيعُونِي لَا آلُوكُمْ خَيْرًا ، وَإِنَّ الْمَصِيرَ إِلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى ، وَإِلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالنَّارِ ، إِقَامَةٌ بِلَا ظَعْنٍ ، وَخُلُودٌ بِلَا مَوْتٍ .
( هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ ) .

It is narrated from Sa'id bin Wahb al-Hamdani (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us in Yemen and said: "I have come to you as the envoy of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (to convey to you this message): that you worship Allah Almighty and do not associate anything with Him, and that you obey me; I will spare no effort in wishing you well and guiding you. And (know) that the final return (of all) is to Allah Almighty, and to Paradise and Hell, where there will be a staying with no departure after it, and an eternity with no death after it."
