وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، ثَنَا أَبُو جُمَيْعٍ الْهُجَيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَى عَلِيًّا ، وَفَاطِمَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا غُلَامًا ، وَقَالَ : أَحْسِنَا إِلَيْهِ ، فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave Sayyiduna Ali and Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them both) a slave and said (advising them): "Both of you treat him with kindness and good conduct, for I have seen him performing the prayer."
And Abu Ya'la (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Abu Bakr narrated this hadith to us with this same chain and text.
