( 106 ) حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : " بِئْسَ عَبْدُ اللهِ فُلَانٌ " فِي مَنَاقِبِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ .
وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَفَّارَةُ الِاغْتِيَابِ أَنْ تَسْتَغْفِرَ لِمَنِ اغْتَبْتَهُ " .
وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَفَّارَةُ الِاغْتِيَابِ أَنْ تَسْتَغْفِرَ لِمَنِ اغْتَبْتَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): "What an evil servant of Allah so-and-so is!" This saying is narrated in the section on the merits of Sayyiduna Khalid bin al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him).
And al-Harith said: A man narrated to us, from Anbasah bin Abd al-Rahman, from Khalid bin Yazid, from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The expiation for backbiting is that you seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty for the one whom you have backbitten."
