وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ : لَا تَضُرُّ الطِّيَرَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ تَطَيَّرَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "A bad omen or evil augury does not harm anyone at all (in itself), except the person who lets it take hold of himself and starts taking bad omens from it."
