Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 2447 — Purslane

It is narrated from Thawr that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by "rijlah" (the herb called purslane), and at that time there was a sore on his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed foot. He (peace and blessings be upon him) treated it with this herb and the sore healed. At this the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah bless you; grow wherever you wish, for you are a cure for seventy illnesses, the least of which is headache."
The chain of this report contains Ibrahim bin Muhammad al-Aslami, who is a weak and abandoned (matruk) narrator, so this report is weak in its chain.
