وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّكُونِيُّ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِذَا أَكَلْتُمُ الطَّعَامَ فَاخْلَعُوا نِعَالَكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ أَرْوَحُ لِأَقْدَامِكُمْ .

Musa bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim narrates from his father (Muhammad bin Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him)) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you sit down to eat, take off your sandals, for that is more restful and comfortable for your feet."
Imam Abu Ya'la also narrated it: Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; he said: Uqbah narrated this to us with the same chain mentioned above.
