قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : يُكْرَهُ أَنْ تُحَدَّ الشَّفْرَةُ وَالشَّاةُ تَنْظُرُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "It is disliked that the knife be sharpened while the goat is watching it."
