قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ . قَالُوا : لِمَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَلِنَبِيِّهِ وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ .
2038 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِهَذَا .
هَذَا الْإِسْنَادُ حَسَنٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مَعْلُولٌ ، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ مَا رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، وَحَدِيثُ تَمِيمٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي صَحِيحِ مُسْلِمٍ .
2038 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِهَذَا .
هَذَا الْإِسْنَادُ حَسَنٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مَعْلُولٌ ، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ مَا رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، وَحَدِيثُ تَمِيمٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي صَحِيحِ مُسْلِمٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The religion is entirely sincere goodwill (nasihah)." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), for whom? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the Book of Allah, for His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and for the leaders (imams) of the Muslims (their rulers and those they follow)." This chain is of hasan (good) grade, but from a scholarly standpoint it has a hidden defect ('illah), whereas the preserved (mahfuz) narration on this subject is the one which Ibn Uyaynah narrated from Amr bin Dinar, from al-Qa'qa' bin Hakim, from Abu Salih, from Ata bin Yazid, from Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him), and this hadith of Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) is also recorded in Sahih Muslim.
