حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ : إِنَّ لِي جَارِيَةً أَصَبْتُهَا ، وَلَهَا ابْنَةٌ قَدْ أَدْرَكَتْ ، أَفَأُصِيبُهَا ؟ فَنَهَتْهُ عَنْهَا . فَقَالَ : لَا ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَقُولِي : حَرَامٌ . فَقَالَتْ : " لَا يَفْعَلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِي أَحَدٌ ، وَلَا مَنْ أَطَاعَنِي " .
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaykah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Mu'adh bin Ubaydullah bin Ma'mar asked the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "I have a slave woman with whom I have had relations, and she has a daughter who has now reached maturity. May I also have marital relations with her (the daughter)?" Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) forbade him from that, whereupon Mu'adh said: "I will not desist until you say that it is 'haram' (unlawful)." At this Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said (decisively): "No one of my family will ever do such a thing, nor anyone who obeys me."
