وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ أَفْرَغَ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ سَبْعًا " .
Shu'bah (may Allah have mercy on him) relates about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that "when he took the bath for janabah (major impurity), he would pour water with his right hand onto his left hand seven times."
