وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ ، فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى مَا يَلِيهِ ، فَوَلَّى الرَّجُلُ فَحَصَبَهُ ، وَقَالَ : أُفٍّ !
قَالَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : مَا كُنَّا نَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا .
قَالَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : مَا كُنَّا نَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا .
It is narrated from Abd al-Wahid al-Bunani (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked him about 'azl (withdrawing before ejaculation to prevent pregnancy). He (may Allah be pleased with him) struck his hand on the ground near him (in displeasure), and then when the man turned his back to leave, he (may Allah be pleased with him) threw a small pebble at him and said: "Uff!"
The narrator of the hadith, Abd al-Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him), relates: I mentioned this incident to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said (explaining its permissibility): "We did not see any harm or wrong in this practice."
