مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ لِغُلَامٍ لَهُ : يَا فُلَانُ ، لَوْلَا أَنَّكَ وَلَدُ زِنْيَةٍ لَأَعْتَقْتُكَ .
It is reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he addressed a slave of his, saying: "O so-and-so! Were it not that you are the child of fornication, I would certainly have freed you."
