حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثَنَا حَبَابَةُ بِنْتُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَفْصٍ ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : تَهَادُوا ، فَإِنَّهُ يُضَعِّفُ الْحُبَّ ، وَيُذْهِبُ الْغَوَائِلَ .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Hakim bint Wada' al-Khuza'iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Give gifts to one another, for this multiplies mutual love and removes the rancour and malice of the heart."
