قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الْمَدَنِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : إِنَّ الشَّرُودَ يُرَدُّ ، يَعْنِي : الْبَعِيرَ الشَّرُودَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The runaway (animal) is to be returned," that is, he (peace and blessings be upon him) meant the runaway camel.
