إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِنْسَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ وَجًّا مُقَدَّسٌ ، مِنْهُ عَرَجَ الرَّبُّ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا يَوْمَ قَضَى خَلْقَ الْأَرْضِ .
قَالَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ : وَجٌّ : وَادِي الطَّائِفِ .
قَالَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ : وَجٌّ : وَادِي الطَّائِفِ .
Ishaq narrated through the chain of Abdullah bin al-Harith al-Makhzumi from Ka'b (al-Ahbar) (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "Indeed, the valley of Wajj is a sacred place; from there the Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, ascended to the lowest heaven on the day He completed the creation of the earth." And al-Makhzumi said that "Wajj" means a valley of al-Ta'if.
