وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ أَبُو الْجَرَّاحِ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرِي - أَوْ قَالَ : مَنْ زَارَنِي - كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا . وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي أَحَدِ الْحَرَمَيْنِ بَعَثَهُ اللهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - فِي الْآمِنِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Imam al-Tayalisi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated with his chain that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever visits my grave, or he (peace and blessings be upon him) said (with doubt): whoever visits me, I will be a witness or an intercessor for him (on the Day of Resurrection). And whoever dies in one of the two Sacred Sanctuaries (Makkah or Madinah), Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will raise him on the Day of Resurrection among those who are safe."
