قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، وَطَاوُوسٍ ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ قَالُوا : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَطُفْ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَّا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا لِحَجِّهِمْ وَعُمْرَتِهِمْ .
1177 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى ، بِهِ .
1177 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، أَيْضًا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، بِهِ .
قُلْتُ : لَيْثٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ عِنْدَ مُسْلِمٍ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ .
وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي السُّنَنِ .
1177 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى ، بِهِ .
1177 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، أَيْضًا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، بِهِ .
قُلْتُ : لَيْثٌ ضَعِيفٌ .
وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ عِنْدَ مُسْلِمٍ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ .
وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي السُّنَنِ .
Imam Abu Ya'la narrated through Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numayr, Yahya bin Ya'la bin al-Harith, his father, Ghaylan bin Jami', Layth, Ata', Tawus and Mujahid that Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions performed only a single tawaf for their Hajj and Umrah." Imam Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah also narrated it in the same way through Yahya bin Ya'la, and furthermore Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it at another place through Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah.
I (Ibn Hajar) say: the narrator Layth in its chain is da'if (weak); however, the hadith of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) is narrated in Sahih Muslim through another route, and the narration of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is found in the books of Sunan.
