قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ مَنْ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ : اخْرُجُوا طَائِعِينَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ مُشَاةً ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : إِنَّ لِلْحَاجِّ الرَّاكِبِ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ تَخْطُوهَا رَاحِلَتُهُ سَبْعِينَ حَسَنَةً ، وَلِلْمَاشِي بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا سَبْعَمِائَةِ حَسَنَةٍ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِ الْحَرَمِ . قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، وَمَا حَسَنَاتُ الْحَرَمِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْحَسَنَةُ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ .
1135 \ 2 - تَابَعَهُ عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا . أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، وَالْحَاكِمُ مِنْ طَرِيقِهِ ، وَقَالَ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ : عِيسَى مَجْهُولٌ .
1135 \ 2 - تَابَعَهُ عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا . أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، وَالْحَاكِمُ مِنْ طَرِيقِهِ ، وَقَالَ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ : عِيسَى مَجْهُولٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he urged his sons to set out from Makkah on foot (for Hajj), in obedience to Allah, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "For the one who performs Hajj riding, there are seventy good deeds for every step his mount takes; and for the one who walks, for every step he takes, seven hundred good deeds from the good deeds of the Haram are written." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the reality of the good deeds of the Haram? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One good deed (of the Haram) is equal to one hundred thousand good deeds."
Isa bin Sawadah corroborated this narration through the chain of Isma'il bin Abi Khalid, Zadhan and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both); Imam Ibn Khuzaymah recorded it, and Imam al-Hakim through his route, while Imam al-Bayhaqi said that the narrator named Isa in its chain is majhul (unknown).
