وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : مَا رُئِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُفْطِرًا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَطُّ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was never once seen not fasting (that is, having broken his fast) on a Friday."
