بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الْفِطْرِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَصِحَّةِ صَوْمِ مَنْ صَامَ فِيهِ

قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ : أَفْطِرُوا ; فَإِنَّهُ يَوْمُ قِتَالٍ .
It is narrated from Ubayd bin Umayr that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the Conquest of Makkah: "All of you break (your fast), for this is a day of fighting and battle with the enemy."
