عَنْ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ بْنِ جَحْشٍ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ بِعَيْنِي حَمْنَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ تَسْقِي الْعَطْشَى ، وَتُدَاوِي الْجَرْحَى . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Ahmad bin Jahsh narrates: With my own eyes I saw Sayyidah Hamnah bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) on the day of Uhud giving water to the thirsty and tending to the wounded.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).

وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : هَاجَرَ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ حَمْنَةُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ فِي نِسْوَةٍ ذَكَرَهُنَّ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Muhammad bin Ishaq narrates: Among the women of Banu Asad, Sayyidah Hamnah bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) emigrated; Muhammad bin Ishaq mentioned her along with other women.
