Sayyiduna al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at a meal. One of the people present asked the servant of the household for a napkin. He held out his own garment, and the man wiped (his hand) with it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not use as a napkin the garment of someone whom you do not clothe."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain contains a narrator who is not named.
