Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the zakah collector comes, he should not leave except pleased with you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A narration about the zakah collector being pleased has already passed in the chapter on buried treasure.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon riders will come to you who will be disliked. When they come to you, welcome them and let them do what they want. If they act justly, it will be to their own benefit, and if they act unjustly, its burden will be upon them. Satisfy them, for the completion of your zakah includes their satisfaction, and let them pray for you."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); some of them have been criticised in a way that does no harm.
