Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The idolaters did not let the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offer the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayers (during the battle) until a part of the night had passed. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); he gave the adhan, then the iqamah, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Zuhr prayer. Then he ordered him; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Asr prayer. Then he ordered him; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Maghrib prayer. Then he ordered him; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he offered the Isha prayer.
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Abi Unaysah, who is da'if (weak) according to the hadith scholars, except that Ibn Adi said: Despite his weakness, his hadith is to be written down.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq), owing to being occupied (in fighting), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) could not offer the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayers. (When he was free of it,) he ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Zuhr prayer. Then he ordered him, and he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he offered the Asr prayer. Then he ordered him; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he offered the Maghrib prayer. Then he ordered him; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he offered the Isha prayer. Then he said: "At this time there is no people on the face of the earth, other than you, who are remembering Allah."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Karim bin Abi al-Mukhariq, who is da'if (weak).

Al-Ja'd Abu Uthman narrates: Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us in the mosque of Banu Tha'labah and asked: "Have you people prayed?" We submitted: "Yes." The narrator says: This was the Fajr prayer. Then he ordered a man; he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and he led his companions in prayer.
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated by Habib bin Siba' has already passed in the chapter that describes a person who offers a prayer while another prayer is also owed by him.
