Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9994

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: "O my nephew, if you and I were at Badr now and Allah Almighty then opened my sight, I would show you the valley from which the angels came out to us, without any doubt or uncertainty."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Salamah bin Rawh, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), while others declared him da'if (weak) because of carelessness in him.
