Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9802

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not fight on behalf of any of the polytheists, except that he fought on behalf of the dhimmis (protected non-Muslim subjects).
This narration has been recorded by Imam al-Bazzar. Its chain contains a narrator, Rishdin bin Sa'd, and he is da'if (weak).
