وَعَنْ سَعْدٍ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تَسْتَشْهِدُونَ بِالْقَتْلِ وَالطَّاعُونِ وَالْغَرَقِ وَالْبَطْنِ وَمَوْتِ الْمَرْأَةِ جُمْعًا مَوْتُهَا فِي نِفَاسِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Count as martyrdom being killed, (dying) of plague, dying by drowning, (dying) of a disease of the belly, and a woman dying in labour, when her death occurs during childbirth."
