بَابٌ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يَغْزُ وَلَمْ يُجَهِّزْ غَازِيًا
One who neither fights nor equips a fighter

وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا تَرَكَ قَوْمٌ الْجِهَادَ إِلَّا عَمَّهُمُ اللَّهُ بِالْعَذَابِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيِّ قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ ، وَقَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : رَوَى عَنْهُ النَّاسُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيِّ قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ ، وَقَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : رَوَى عَنْهُ النَّاسُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a people abandon jihad, Allah Almighty sends down a general punishment upon them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher Ali bin Sa'id al-Razi. Al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is not of that standing. Al-Dhahabi said: People have narrated from him.
