وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ يَكُونُ أَسْلَمُ النَّاسِ فِيهَا الْجُنْدَ الْغَرْبِيَّ " .
قَالَ ابْنُ الْحَمِقِ : فَلِذَلِكَ قُدِّمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ مِصْرَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقِ عُمَيْرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُغَافِرِيِّ وَقَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : لَا يَدْرِي مَنْ هُوَ .
قَالَ ابْنُ الْحَمِقِ : فَلِذَلِكَ قُدِّمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ مِصْرَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقِ عُمَيْرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُغَافِرِيِّ وَقَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : لَا يَدْرِي مَنْ هُوَ .
Sayyiduna Amr bin al-Hamiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be a tribulation in which the safest of people will be the one who is in the western army." Sayyiduna Ibn al-Hamiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "That is why, O people of Egypt, I have come to you."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it through Umayrah bin Abdullah al-Mughafiri. Al-Dhahabi said: It is not known who he is.
