وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُ بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يُذْهِبُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْهَمَّ وَالْغَمَّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold fast to jihad in the way of Allah, for it is one of the gates of Paradise; through it Allah Almighty removes worry and grief."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin al-Husayn, who is matruk (abandoned).
