وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الرَّمْيَ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ فَهِيَ نِعْمَةٌ جَحَدَهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، وَثَّقَهُ شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، وَثَّقَهُ شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever learns archery and then forgets it, that was a blessing which he denied."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Qays bin al-Rabi', whom Shu'bah, al-Thawri and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while a group declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
