Sayyiduna Amr bin Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Soon the land will be opened up for you and you will be provided for sufficiently in worldly matters; so let none of you become incapable of amusing himself with his arrows (that is, let him not abandon it)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Bakr bin Sahl. Al-Dhahabi says: He is muqarib al-hadith (his narrations are fairly acceptable). Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says: He is da'if (weak). Its chain also contains Ibn Lahi'ah.
