عَنْ سَفِينَةَ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَفِينَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade travelling to the land of the enemy with the Qur'an, for fear that the enemy might take it (and dishonour it).
