Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Sa'di (may Allah be pleased with him), who belonged to Banu Malik bin Hanbal, narrates that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) along with some of his companions. The people said to him: "Guard our mounts, and then you can come in." He was the youngest of them. He took care of all their needs, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Come in." So he came in. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What do you need?" He said: "What I need is that you tell me: has emigration (hijrah) come to an end?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What you need is better than what they needed. Emigration will not come to an end as long as fighting with the enemy continues." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded this narration in an abridged form.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
