وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يُخَضِّبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Muhammad bin Ishaq narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) used to dye with henna.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrator Ibn Ishaq did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
