وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ جَرِيرًا يَخْضِبُ بِالصُّفْرَةِ وَالزَّعْفَرَانِ . .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Abd al-Malik bin Umayr narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) dyeing with yellow and saffron.
