وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ خَضَبَ بِالسَّوَادِ سَوَّدَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَضِينُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ مَنْ هُوَ دُونَهُمْ فِي الْمَنْزِلَةِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَضِينُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ مَنْ هُوَ دُونَهُمْ فِي الْمَنْزِلَةِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dyes with black, Allah Almighty will blacken his face on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Wadin bin Ata', whom Ahmad, Yahya bin Ma'in and Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy, and those of lower rank than them declared him weak. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
