وَعَنْ أُمِّ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَضَّبَ حَتَّى مَاتَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ رَوْحٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ وَيُخَالِفُ . وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيهِمْ أَحَدٌ .

Sayyidah Umm Ayyash (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I never saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) apply dye, until he passed away.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Karim bin Rawh, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy, and he said: He makes mistakes and narrates contrary to others. Others declared him weak. No one has criticised the remaining narrators of this report.
