عَنِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : كَانَ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَدَحٌ مُفَضَّضٌ بِنُحَاسٍ، فِيهِ يَسْقِي النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذَا شَرِبَ وَفِيهِ يُوَضِّئُهُ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) had a cup plated with copper. He would give the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drink from it whenever he drank, and would help the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ablution (wudu) from it whenever he performed ablution.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration. Its chain contains Ali bin Yazid al-Alhani, and he is da'if (weak).
