Bishr bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Sa'id al-Khath'ami narrates: I visited Muhammad bin Ali bin al-Husayn (i.e., Imam al-Baqir), and his son was with him. He said: "Come forward and eat." I said: "O son of the Messenger of Allah! I have already had my morning meal." He said to me: "This is hindaba' (i.e., chicory)." I said: "O son of the Messenger of Allah! What is hindaba'?" He said: "My father narrated this hadith to me from my grandfather: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'On every single leaf of hindaba' (i.e., chicory) there is a drop of the water of Paradise.'" After that the narrator mentioned the rest of the hadith; the complete narration will come in the chapter on applying oil.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Artah bin al-Ash'ath, who is extremely da'if (weak).
