بَابُ لَيْسَ السَّنَةُ بِأَنْ لَا يَكُونَ فِيهَا مَطَرٌ .

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَيْسَ السَّنَةُ أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ فِيهَا مَطَرٌ وَلَكِنَّ السَّنَةَ أَنْ يُمْطَرَ النَّاسُ وَلَا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Famine is not that there is no rain in a year; rather, famine is that people receive rain but the earth does not grow (produce)."
