Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7972

Abdullah bin Abi Qays al-Nasri narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) standing on the pulpit in Makkah, delivering a sermon and saying: Indeed, the believer eats with one intestine, and the disbeliever eats with seven intestines; I heard your Prophet say it in exactly this way.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Nasr bin Muhammad, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and whom Abu Hatim called da'if (weak).
