Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7954

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever spends the night with the smell of meat on his hand, and then something harms him, let him blame no one but himself."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it with various chains. The narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except for al-Zubayr bin Bakkar, and he is thiqah (trustworthy); he is alone in narrating it, as al-Tabarani stated.
