وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أُتِيَ بِصَحْفَةٍ تَفُورُ فَأَسْرَعَ يَدَهُ فِيهَا ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَهُ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يُطْعِمْنَا نَارًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَكْرِيُّ ضَعَّفَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَكْرِيُّ ضَعَّفَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A bowl that was hot was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He put his hand in it and then lifted it, and said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty does not feed us fire."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Yazid al-Bakri, whom Abu Hatim declared da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
