وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ . قَالَ : " فَهَلْ نَظَرْتَ إِلَيْهَا ، فَإِنَّ فِي أَعْيُنِ الْأَنْصَارِ شَيْئًا ؟ " قَالَ : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : " عَلَى كَمْ ؟ " قَالَ : عَلَى أَرْبَعِ أَوَاقٍ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عَلَى أَرْبَعِ أَوَاقٍ ؟ كَأَنَّمَا تَنْحِتُونَ الْفِضَّةَ مِنْ عُرْضِ هَذَا الْجَبَلِ " .
قُلْتُ : فِي الصَّحِيحِ طَرَفٌ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : فِي الصَّحِيحِ طَرَفٌ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I have married a woman from the Ansar." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Did you look at her? For there is something in the eyes of the Ansar." He said: "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "For how much (dowry)?" He replied: "For four uqiyahs." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For four uqiyahs? It is as though you were chiselling silver off the side of this mountain." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The opening part of this report is reported in the "Sahih".
